A killer smile, amazing stage presence and that awe inspiring voice is only what she leaves on stage, but the heights and depths that are Jessica Jolia, are broad enough to match her undeniable range. Her sultry notes remind us that soul and R&B are still reserved for the grown and sexy and Jessica is the perfect example of when new age meets classic. Introducing The Jessica Jolia...
Jessica Jolia is an American recording artist, songwriter, musician and educator. Her musical talents, passion and work ethic led her to earn scholarships to Berklee College of Music and Oklahoma Christian University as a student of the Vocal Performance Bachelor of Arts degree program, the latter of which she chose to attend. It was there that Jessica discovered her true love for the stage and for music.
In 2013, Jessica began to focus on songwriting, arranging, and her career as a solo artist. She revisited the albums of her favorite artists and musicians, the likes of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Chaka Khan, Minnie Riperton, Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, and began to develop a sound that was truly and uniquely her own. She has since been featured in This Is RnB, The A&R Report, Rolling Soul Brazil, and many other music magazines, newspapers and blogs around the world. Her debut single, "Sometimes", was independently released in November 2014 and is featured in the 2015 film Sister Code, starring Amber Rose, Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora.
Jessica has had the pleasure of performing and touring with many award-winning recording artists, such as Rita Ora, Meghan Trainor, Eric Benet, Goapele, Faith Evans, Karyn White, Chico DeBarge, Alexander O'Neal, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jennifer Love, Amber Riley and Kelly Price. Her music is a reflection of her personal and professional experiences and travels, unified by an underlying theme of growth, vulnerability, tenacity and love.
